I have decided to use theese colours to represent the creativity in media and I really wanted to present my course through my poster. The colour scheme is a mixture of blue, pinks ,purples and whites they represent mandatory and clean crisp creative colours. Throughout my research hallock discovered that most ages are attracted to a blue Color that’s why I used blue as it appeals to all ages and genders. I used this typeface to stand out throughout the colours it makes the blue and pink and purple stand out but the bold black writing stands out even more catching the audience eye . I made the leading in the text very small so the eye focus directly to the middle where the title “ project connect” is presented so it makes the audience focus on the real reason of the poster. I wanted the poster to represent that everyone can be colourful and creative in there own way but the bold texts represents that they is one reason for all of it for every action there is something major it contributes to. I’m unsure if I’m happy as I think I’m is very simple however simple is powerful and it’s more eye catching rather then piling everything up on the screen. I think that I have developed my skills on this project connect poster because I am very use to piling everything I can onto one page and not thinking about meaning or layout. I've learnt the simplest things can be more affective then everything at once.
I have continued with a house theme of colour schemes every poster that I have made I have used the colours pink, purple, blue and white to represent the same meaning throughout.in this poster I have kept a very plain white background and added simple coloured explosions to create a sensational mood to the poster the explosion colours are pink and blue to represent mandatory , instruction yet playful and bold. I used the explosions to give a very out of this world vibe and create a extraordinary mood. the type face is very modern as a sans typeface to go with the futuristic feel to the poster. I wanted the poster to represent that in the future we have to still hold all the themes of project connect in every situation so I wanted to show that if we did this we can create a better world.im very happy with this piece of work as I created it for something id like to see so it would reflect to an audience of my age. I think I developed my skills here and used a wider range of brush category's rather then regular shapes to create the posters. I have also used hands in the text to show community within the college.
In this poster I have made is very similar to the other the colour scheme is exactly the same of white, purple , pink and blue however I have decided to add yellow to represent positivity and happiness which I think that we will all achieve if we used the themes of project connect for our lives present and future. the layout is very similar to the other I have used a range of small explosion brushes and used the same bold label typeface on the first poster because I believe it stands out so much and it has a creative side that appeals to the audience . I'm very happy with this project connect poster . it is my favorited once by far because I believe that is looks professional the colour schemes go very well with he type face and it in not too showy in your face but yet it is still bold and vibrant enough to stand out of the rest. I've developed my skills here because I have taken two of my original posters and merged them together to create one that I really like . so I understand that you can keep changing and playing around with stuff and experimenting is not a bad thing because it will soon lead to greater things
