Legibility is how easy a reader can recognize an individual word in a text. Legibility is different to readability. Readability is how easy a reader can recognise words are sentences and paragraphs . Legibility is how easy a reader can identify words dependent on their font choice ,point size ,kerning , tracking and line length.
The image shows the difference between something that is more legible then less legible . The less legible shows a much harder font which is much harder for the auidence to read. This can make it less legible as it shows strugglement. The bottom example is more legible as it shows the ease at which the reader can read the words as it has a clear font and a clear size and good spacing
